 E-Participation

Electronic community participation is one of the means of enhancing communication between individuals and institutions in the digital age, as it relies on the use of modern technologies and electronic platforms to enable citizens to participate effectively in decision-making, discuss societal issues, and provide opinions and suggestions.

This participation provides the community with the opportunity to interact with government entities directly and quickly, which contributes to enhancing transparency and building trust. This mechanism is an important part of achieving digital transformation and enhancing governance, as it contributes to the involvement of various segments of society in issues that affect their daily lives. It also supports innovation by opening channels for the exchange of ideas between individuals and institutions.

Based on the principles and fundamentals of the strategic work pursued by the Ministry of Finance, the focus was on the need for the participation of all concerned parties and relevant persons when developing public policies and strategic plans for all of the Ministry's work, projects, and development initiatives in order to develop the financial sector in the Kingdom and improve its services in a continuous and integrated manner.

The Ministry has relied on all forms of interaction, including visions, suggestions, observations, and complaints directed by everyone who deals with the Ministry directly, or with any of its affiliated institutions or under its supervision, noting that all these observations, opinions, and suggestions were dealt with and responded to according to specific mechanisms that ensure the strengthening of constructive communication ties with the public.

The Deputy of Communication and Media at the Ministry of Finance is responsible for supervising the electronic participation and consultations, and the Ministry seeks, through its electronic portal, to develop and activate the largest possible number of electronic participation channels that suit the needs of the portal's visitors. you can communicate with the team responsible for e-participation in the Ministry via e-mail: dcm.office@mof.gov.sa
