On 30 January 2022, H.E. Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed AlJadaan met with the Minister of Finance of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Ahmed Shide.

During the meeting, a number of issues of common interest were discussed, with emphasis on the importance of long-term partnerships between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Ethiopia, as well as ways to strengthen financial, economic and development relations between the two nations.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in the Kingdom and a number of senior officials from the Saudi Ministry of Finance.
