KSA participated in the 11th meeting of the GCC e-government executive committee. A team from the e-Government Program headed by Eng. Ali bin Saleh Al-Soma represented KSA.
The purpose of the meeting was to establish an environment of cooperation to support actual partnership of e-Governments among GCC countries in addition to exchange of experience and technology. Anticipated results will definitely formulate a vision that boosts common cooperation and action, in addition to shifting from agreements and meetings context to actual action that contributes to higher quality of e-services and better life to the community.
The meeting discussed preparations for the upcoming GCC events, approval of the GCC e-Government benchmark strategy and arranging of future events.
Moreover, the meeting discussed preparations for the third GCC e-Government conference that will be held in U.A.E in 2013.
