​Their Excellences, the finance ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), headed by the Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, held a joint meeting with HE US Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew, with the participation of His Excellency the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. in Riyadh today.

They discussed, during the meeting, ways to strengthen economic, financial, investment and trade relations between the GCC countries and the United States in accordance with the framework agreement between the two sides. They also discussed the current and future conditions of  global oil markets, as well as developments in global economic conditions and their impact on the economies of the GCC countries
