United Arab Emirates, Dubai Expo: H.E. the Saudi Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed Aljadaan, visited the Kingdom's Pavilion at "Expo 2020 Dubai". He was received and accompanied by H.E. the Saudi Ambassador to the UAE Mr. Turki Al-Dakhil, and the Commissioner-General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Pavilion, Eng. Hussain Hanbazazah.
Al-Jadaan was briefed on the various sections of the Kingdom's pavilion, which are based on four main pillars: people, nature, heritage, and opportunities, reflecting the Kingdom prospects in economy and investment, arts and culture, nature, as well as energy. He commended the distinguished organization and efforts made by the team to make the pavilion a success, becoming one of the most important pavilions in the exhibition through its richness and diversity. He looked forward to the Kingdom hosting the Expo on 2030 to contribute to providing solutions to the most prominent challenges facing the world, as well as crowning the Kingdom's efforts to achieve the targets of Vision 2030.
Aljadaan also toured the UAE's pavilion which reflects the Emirates past, present and future. He also visited Egypt's pavilion, which embodies its ancient civilization, and the pavilion of the Republic of Indonesia, the current president of the G20 for the year 2022. He also explored the pavilion of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and the pavilion of the League of Arab States. He visited the Sustainability pavilion, which highlights the urgent need to address some incorrect practices on the environment and their negative impacts on natural resources.
He thanked the team during his visit and their contributions to strengthening ties between nations, while commending the efforts made by the United Arab Emirates in hosting and organizing this global event.
