His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance, addressed a meeting of key US business people and academics in Washington DC, 18 April 2018, on the sideline of the IMF and World Bank 2018 Spring Meetings.

At the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, His Excellency delivered an update on the strong progress of the Saudi Vision 2030 and provided illustration on how momentum for the transformation was growing. The Minister shared examples of developments in this regard over the last year, emphasizing the critical role of the private sector in achieving the economic diversification, and highlighting the positive prospects and opportunities for the private sector in the Kingdom. 

His Excellency then responded to questions regarding the transformation in the fields of financial services, healthcare and consumer goods, amongst others, and the opportunities these presented within the kingdom.

During the Council of Foreign Relations Meeting, His Excellency discussed many topics related to Saudi Vision 2030, and answered a wide variety of questions throughout the meeting.
