His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan the Finance Minister met with His Excellency Dr. Jim Yong Kim, president of the World Bank who is visiting the Kingdom currently, in his office this morning (Tuesday) 17/05/1438 AH,  

​During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the World Bank and the partnership with the Kingdom in supporting of the World Bank Group to promote sustainable development to contribute for achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030. They also discussed the executive programs, capacity building and training of Saudi staffs and the appropriate tools to do so.

They also reviewed the developments in the global economy, the World Bank Group visions about them, the World Bank forecasts for  the global growth in this year, and the Bank's role in supporting the efforts of the countries in the region including Yemen.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Khulaifi, Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, His Excellency Dr. Hamad Al- Bazai  the Vice Minister of Finance, His Excellency Dr. Khalid Al-khudairy the Executive Director of the Kingdom to the World Bank, Dr. Hafez Ghanem, World Bank Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa, and Dr. Nader Mohammed, regional Director of the Gulf cooperation Council (GCC) in the World Bank.
