 Ministry of Finance Confirms No Changes in Expat Dependents Fee & There is No Amendment to What Has Been Announced Earlier.

With reference to social media reports about changes in expat dependents fee, The Ministry of Finance stresses that the expatriate dependent fee will remain as was announced earlier. No amendments have been introduced," The Ministry further would like to point out that it has not announced any postponement of dependent fee nor did it issue any statements stressing that the statements made by His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Al-Jadaan, the Minister of Finance during the previous two days, are talking about possible amendments that will be applied to the program of financial balance, noting that these amendments will be announced before the announcement of the budget 2018 
HE said that achieving zero equilibrium by 2020 is not a goal, but a sustainable financial reform in the medium term, noting that the financial balance can be extended until the fiscal year 2023 to maintain an appropriate growth rate. Pointing out that the performance indicators for 2018 are expected to be more positive.

The Finance Ministry appealed to all media to follow the official channels in receiving statements and publishing them. They should ask the ministry so as to verify any information that was not announced officially.
