​His Excellency the Saudi Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed AlJadaan, participated in a dialogue session held today, Monday, 4 December 2023, at the third edition of the Saudi Green Initiative Forum 2023 during the Conference of Parties (COP28) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

During the session, H.E. AlJadaan emphasized the importance of investing in innovative technology solutions such as Carbon Capture, Utilization

and Storage (CCUS) and the Circular Carbon Economy to achieve climate change goals, noting that financing these technologies is key to achieving a reliable and just energy transition, which will also contribute to supporting the growth of the global economy in a sustainable manner.

In addition, Assistant Minister of Finance for Macro-Fiscal Policies and International Relations, Mr. Abdulmuhsen Alkhalaf, participated on behalf of H.E. the Minister of Finance in the Finance Ministers High-Level Roundtable.

The third edition of the Saudi Green Initiative Forum is held under the theme "From Ambition to Action", and convenes policy makers, thought leaders, and climate experts to share insights on how to address climate challenges and secure a greener future.
