His Excellency the Saudi Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed Aljadaan, headed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the 121st meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee, held today, May 30, 2024, in Doha, Qatar.

The meeting was chaired by the Qatari Minister of Finance, His Excellency​ Mr. Ali Al-Kuwari, in the presence of Their Excellencies the Ministers of Finance of GCC nations, as well as the Secretary- General of the GCC.

The participants discussed key issues related to strengthening financial and economic cooperation between the GCC nations, while the Committee was informed of the recommendations from the GCC Undersecretaries of Ministries of Finance Committee, as well as the latest developments from the Secretariat General.

The findings of the GCC Customs Union Authority were also discussed regarding optimization of its work and ways to empower it to carry out its functions, in accordance with best practices that fulfill the requirements of the Authority.
