His Excellency Mohammed Al Jadaan, Minister of Finance, will inaugurate Euromoney Saudi Arabia Conference 2018 on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 at Al-Faisaliah hotel. The conference will be organized by Euromoney International Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Finance, and will last for two days.
"The Euromoney Saudi Arabia Conference 2018 is considered one of the most important regional forums in the MENA region. It has a great global reputation and a leading role in the region," said HE Yarob Thenayan, Deputy Minister of Communication and Media. "The conference is an opportunity to strengthen communication with the private sector, investors, and those interested in the economy inside and outside the Kingdom", he added.
"This partnership is a result of successful years of organizing such conferences related to the Saudieconomy. Reinforcingthe Kingdom's great political and economicstanding and reputation," Mr.Y. Thenayan stated on commenting on the partnership between the Ministry of Finance and the Euromoney International Foundation. "The Ministry of Finance will participate in the conference's exhibition, in which the Ministry will display the "Eitimad" platform – a digital platform that provides financial services to all government agencies starting with budgeting, project credits, transfers, exchange mechanisms and others," he added.
Regarding this year's conference theme, HE Yarob Thenayan, Deputy Minister of Communication and Media, stated that it will focus on important economic reforms and initiatives, which will contribute to transforming the economy of the Kingdom and the entire region.
In addition to the opening speech of HE Mr.Mohammed Aljadaan, the conference speakers will include: HE Dr Majid bin Abdullah Al Qassabi, Minister of Trade and Investment, HE Dr Ahmed bin Abdul Karim Al Khulaifi, Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, HE Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Quwaiz, Chairman of the Capital Market Authority, HE Mr. Saleh Al-Rasheed, Governor of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, Mr. Fahad Al Seif, Head of the Debt Management Office at the Ministry of Finance, HE Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Rasheed, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Economy and Planning, and HE Mr. Khalid Al Hossan, Executive Director of Tadawul.
