​The Saudi Deputy Minister of Finance for International Relations, Deputy Chair of the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC), Dr. Ryadh Alkhareif, participated in the second G20 Finance and Central Bank Deputies (FCBD) meeting under the Finance Track of the Brazilian Presidency, held February 26-27, 2024 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The meeting included two main discussions: 1) on the “Evolving nature of the G20 Finance Track—bridging commitments and implementation": and 2) an open discussion on the first batch of Working Group meetings and the way forward.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Dr. Alkhareif met with the G20 Deputies and members of the IMFC from Australia, Russia, the United States, Switzerland, Spain, the United Kingdom, France, and Argentina.​

Dr. Alkhareif discussed a number of topics related to the IMFC, in addition to other topics related to strengthening the global economy.
