His Excellency the Saudi Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed Aljadaan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, 25 October 2023, with His Excellency the Minister of Finance and Treasury of the Republic of Turkey, Mehmet Şimşek. It was signed on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative forum (FII) in Riyadh, scheduled for 24-26 October 2023, which seeks to enhance cooperation in finance and investment.

His Excellency Aljadaan said the MoU reflects the strong historical relations between Saudi Arabia and Turkey, noting the opportunities to strengthen bilateral economic relations and develop more effective partnerships.

The MoU focuses on solidifying bilateral relations between the two nations, and enhancing cooperation in the areas of financial sector development and public finance through encouraging opportunities and exchanging experiences in related topics between the two sides.
