​The Saudi Deputy Minister of Finance for International Relations, Mr. Khalid Bawazier, participated in the 4th Finance and Central Bank Deputies Meeting under the Finance Track of the Brazilian G20 Presidency, held July 22-23, 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The meeting included an open session on the G20 way forward for its workstreams, and a session for the G20 emerging and developing economies.

During the meeting, Mr. Bawazier discussed a number of topics related to strengthening the global economy. He stressed on the importance of recognizing the critical role of multilateralism and global cooperation in addressing current global challenges.
