The Assistant Minister of Finance for Macro-Fiscal Policy and International Relations, Mr. Abdulaziz Alrasheed and the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen Mr. Ahmed Ghaleb, signed, in Riyadh, an agreement to extend the period of the Saudi Arabian's deposit that was previously deposited in 2018 at the Central Bank of Yemen.
On this note, Alrasheed confirmed that this agreement is a continuation of the Kingdom's ongoing support to the Yemeni people. He added that this support enhances the financial and economic situation in the Republic of Yemen, especially the exchange rate of theYemeni riyal, which reflects positively on the living conditions of Yemeni citizens.
The two officials also discussed the deposit that was announced in April 2022.
