His Excellency the Saudi Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Aljadaan, and His Excellency the Saudi Central Bank's Governor, Mr. Ayman bin Mohammed Alsayari participated in the 4th G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) Meeting in Marrakech, Morocco held on 12-13 October 2023.

The meeting, which was organized by India's G20 Presidency, was attended by G20 Finance Ministers, Central Banks Governors, and leaders from international financial institutions. The attendees discussed developments in global sovereign debt issues, the means to strengthen MDBs to address shared challenges of the 21st Century, the global economic outlook, and the adoption of the G20 Roadmap on Crypto Assets.

Recent developments in the Saudi economy were highlighted during the meeting, as well as the policies and reforms that contributed to promoting sustainable growth and the strong performance of the non-oil sector supported by healthy private sector growth. A G20 Communiqué was adopted by the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors.
