His Excellency Mohammed Al Jadaan, Minister of Finance, led the Saudi delegation participating in the 108th GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee meeting held on Tuesday 6th November 2018 in Kuwait. 

 The meeting was attended by the GCC Secretary General Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, with the participation of HE Dr. Hamad bin Suleiman Al-Bazai, the Deputy Minister of Finance, HE Eng. Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi, the Governor of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax, HE Mr. Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Al-Hakbani, the Governor of the Saudi Customs General Authority, and officials from Ministry of Finance, the General Authority of Zakat and Tax, and the Saudi Customs General Authority.     

The meeting reviewed various financial and economic issues and subjects of common interest, including; the recommendations of the GCC Committee of Governors of Monetary Institutions and Central Banks, the appointment of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee as a specialized committee to hear appeals against decisions of anti-dumping cases until the establishment of the Economic Judicial Commission, and the latest amendments to the GCC Common Customs Law. The meeting was concluded with resolutions that would enhance economic integration among the GCC states, help to overcome various obstacles, increase GCC subjects' welfare and gains, and push forward the joint action process between the GCC states.
