His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan Saudi Arabia's Minister of Finance and the Republic of Latvia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Edgars Rinkevic signed a Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) between the governments of KSA and Republic of Latvia to avoid double taxation on income taxes, capital tax and prevention of  tax evasion in the presence of  H.E. Sahail Abanami, Governor of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax on November 07, 2019 at the Minister of Finance’s Office in Riyadh. 

This agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs’ visit to the Kingdom. The Saudi Minister of Finance called on bilateral investors to enter into joint investments and benefit from tax advantages prescribed by the agreement.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Rasheed, Assistant Minister for International Financial Affairs and Financial Policies and  Mr. Thamer bin Saleh Al-Jared, Advisor to the Minister of Finance.
