​On Thursday February 28 2019, His Excellency Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held a bilateral discussion with Mr. David Malpass, the US nominee for the position of the World Bank Group President.  Mr. Malpass shared with Minister Al-Jadaan his vision for the World Bank Group’s focus and priorities going forward and his approach to deliver on the Bank’s Twin Goals of ending extreme poverty and promoting shared prosperity. Minister Al-Jadaan considers Mr. Malpass to be a strong candidate for the position of the World Bank Group President.
