Mr. Haitham Abdulrahman Altraif is the Saudi Assistant Minister of Finance for Financial Affairs. His duties include supervising the financial affairs sector within the Ministry of Finance, which includes supervising the preparation of the state's general budget, public revenues, financial affairs, and accounts. In addition, he supervises the development of financial skills of personnel in governmental entities.

Mr. Altraif has extensive experience in the field of business administration, spanning more than 20 years, while leading a number of organizations in the public and private sectors, where his work focused on strategic transformation, operational excellence, and empowering human capabilities.​

Mr. Altraif held the position of Deputy Minister for General Budget, where he worked on preparing, implementing, and managing the state's general budget. He also held many executive positions in the field of policies and budget governance, as well as representing the Ministry in a number of councils, committees, and Vision 2030 Realization Programs.

Mr. Altraif holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool, a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Technology from King Saud University, and an Executive Management Program at Harvard University.​
