​Saudi Deputy Minister of Finance for Macro-Fiscal Policies
Dr. Abdulelah Saleh AlRasheedy


Dr. Abdulelah Saleh AlRasheedy is the Saudi Deputy Minister of Finance for Macro-Fiscal Policies. He supervises medium-term budgeting optimization and fiscal planning, proposing appropriate fiscal and economic policies, in addition to driving financial sector development, and supporting statistical databases and related research.

AlRasheedy has extensive experience in the financial sector, having worked at the Saudi Central Bank for more than 12 years, during which time he rose through the ranks until he became Head of the Economic Modeling Department and then took over the management of the Economic Modeling Division. He later moved to the Saudi Ministry of Finance as Assistant Deputy Minister for Macro-Fiscal Policies Analysis until he assumed his current position as Deputy Minister for Macro-Fiscal Policies.

AlRasheedy holds a PhD in Economics and Statistics from the University of Missouri in the United States, a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois in the United States, and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Qassim University.​
