As a culmination of the Royal Decree, ordering the return of allowances, rewards  and financial benefits, issued in the month of Rajab,

the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, has issued a Royal Decree to compensate state employees for the amounts of allowances, rewards and financial benefits retroactively from the date of their suspension in a month of Dhul-Hijjah 1437 AH (September 2016).

 In this regard, His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed Al-Jadaan, explained that the return of allowances, rewards  and financial benefits to state employees can be absorbed in the budget items, expecting that will contribute to increase consumer spending and enhance confidence. It will also boost economic growth and ensure stability in the trends of demands

His Excellency the Minister affirmed that the order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to return all allowances, rewards  and financial benefits to the civil and military employees of the State is an incarnation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques continuous keenness for the welfare of His sons and daughters and the provision of decent life means for them. His Excellency the Minister also stressed that the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques remains committed to the objectives of the financial balance program and the structural financial reforms as already have been announced earlier.
