His Excellency Mohammed Al Jadaan, Minister of Finance, participated in the Council of American Chambers Meeting, held in Washington DC, 22 Muharram 1439, corresponding to 12 October 2017, as side meeting during the IMF and World Bank annual 2017 meetings.

 His Excellency delivered a speech in which he reviewed the efforts exerted by the Saudi Government to achieve the 2030 vision. He emphasized on the role those efforts play to support the private sector growth, including stimulating the foreign companies' investments in the Kingdom. He pointed out that the 2030 vision includes various initiatives aimed at developing small and medium enterprises, enhancing employment opportunities for citizens, raising the level of government services, improving the investment environment, developing financial markets, and diversifying the Kingdom economic activity over the medium term. He highlighted the promising opportunities for American companies, stressed the importance of these companies in achieving the 2030 vision, considering the strong and established relationship between the Kingdom and the United States of America. 

On other hand, His Excellency Mohammed Al Jadaan held a bilateral meeting with Dr. Jim Kim, President of the World Bank Group, during which he discussed means of enhancing cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the World Bank Group. He also held several bilateral meetings with heads of international rating agencies and international banks to discuss the global economy  developments.
