His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, participated in the meeting of the countries contributing to the initiative for the promotion of entrepreneurship for women, on Saturday , Shawwal 14, 1438, July 8, 2017 on the sidelines of the G20 leaders' summit in Hamburg, Germany .

German Chancellor Angela Merkel opened the meeting with US President Donald Trump, British Prime Minister Theresa May, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, as well as a number of high-level representatives of other contributing countries in the initiative.

The initiative was officially launched during the meeting. The initiative aims to encourage investments and to overcome barriers that hamper women entrepreneurs' access to finance, as well as services that help to promote the growth of women's SMEs, including skills development and Technical assistance 

The meeting was attended by the President of the World Bank Group, the Director General of the International Monetary Fund, the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
